The sold-out sign has gone up Black Caviar’s half-sister who was bought for $2.6 million this week.
Trainer Danny O’Brien, who will train the daughter of Redoute’s Choice and Helsinge, said there had been such strong demand for shares that some people may miss out.
He said clients of BC3 Thoroughbreds, who bought the filly, and his own stable clients were being given priority and that shares would be finalised on Monday.
“She has been very well received by clients,” O’Brien said.
“It is an opportunity that won’t come along again and everyone jumped at it.”
He said the wives of many clients were particularly interested in taking up shares.
O’Brien said the filly was already at Barwon Heads on Victoria’s Bellarine Peninsula where he has his own private training property and is a neighbour of BC3 Thoroughbreds own complex.
“I saw her yesterday and hopefully she has a big future in front of her,” O’Brien said.
